My Top 5 Products Right Now
When it comes to skincare, makeup, and hair products, I have tried many, many different brands and formulas over the years. Here are my recent top 5 favorite products that I have added into my everyday routine:
Disclaimer: These are products that work for me, but they may not all work for you!
Dyson Airwrap Styler
I was surprised with a Dyson Airwrap for Christmas and I have loved using it ever since. It is on the pricey side, but a good dupe for it would be the Shark FlexStyle. It makes my hair look so voluminous and because of the different attachments, it makes drying and styling my hair a lot faster.
Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream
I just started using this moisturizer when I found out that one I used to use is not cruelty-free, but I am so glad I made this switch. My skin has never felt better, honestly. The product is thick enough that you can get a good layer on your skin, but still light and airy, which is important to me.
Kiss Falscara DIY Lash Extensions Kit
I had eyelash extensions over the summer and absolutely loved them, but the upkeep was way too expensive for a college student. When I discovered the Kiss Falscara at home lash extensions kit, I instantly bought it. It makes getting ready in the morning so much easier since you wake up with lashes.
*Tip: Once you run out of the lashes that come in the full kit, you can use any strip lash with the bond and seal product! Just make sure you cut them.
Ice Roller
I was definitely influenced by TikTok for this one, but I don't regret caving at all. If you wake up with your face/eyes feeling puffy, this is perfect for you. I use it right after I wash my face in the morning and it wakes me up for my early classes.
Powder Puff
This was another product that TikTok influenced me to buy, and once again, there is not one part of me that regrets it! It gives her base such a flawless finish, making your skin look airbrushed. It keeps everything in place all day when you pair it with a good setting spray.
*Tip: Before tapping in your powder, spray your face with your favorite setting spray, and while your skin is still wet, apply the powder on top of that. I know it sounds weird and like it goes against all the makeup rules, but trust me, it looks amazing.
First, I just want to say your blog is beautifully formatted!! It looks so good. I'm certainly not a makeup person and my skin and hair care are pretty much baseline, regardless I think this is a really approachable post. I liked the tips you included and the honesty about what influenced you to try or continue to use the products you listed.
ReplyDeleteI've heard that the Dyson beauty products are pretty good and worth the price, so it's pretty cool to see another opinion on them here.
ReplyDeleteI feel that because everyone's skin type is different, everyone's needs for makeup are different, but I think some of the things you recommend are very useful.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm not familiar with these products, this was a pretty interesting read.
